Joints

Expansion Joints divide slabs into smaller sections allowing for movement. Includes allowances for thermal movement, and deflection due to heavy loads between slabs. A well designed expansion joint is water tight, pedestrian safe and protects the edges of the concrete against premature wear. Joint types vary depending on the exact needs of a structure.

Miller & Co offers expansion joint removal and replacement as well as installation at the time of construction. We are experienced in troubleshooting, repairing and retrofitting failed expansion joints.
